  1. What kind of pets do you allow?
    Cats and dogs up to 100 pounds.
  2. How many pets may I have?
    Two pets per unit.
  3. Are there any deposits, special fees, or monthly charges to have a pet?
    Villa Regale requires pet screening which determines deposit and monthly pet rent per pet.
  4. What must I bring with me to tour an apartment?
    Please bring photo ID! (ID/Driver License/Passport).
  5. What are your fees and monthly charges?
    Application, administrative, and monthly fees vary! Call 956-213-8888 for more information.
  6. What are the resident qualifying criteria?
    Credit, background, and rental history checks are required. Please call us for more info on qualifying criteria!
  7. What is acceptable “proof of income” to sign a lease?
    Check stubs, income tax forms, bank statements, offer letters can all be accepted.
  8. What happens if I qualify for an apartment, but my roommate does not?
    Only you can move forward with leasing, not your roommate.
  9. Is my security deposit totally refundable?
    Depending on the condition of the apartment.
  10. If I get a job transfer, can I break the lease?
    Lease may be broken with a 30 day written notice and payment of a reletting fee. Resident will still be liable for the remainder of the lease if not able to sublet the apartment.
  11. Can I change to a month-to-month lease plan after my first year?
    Yes! Villa Regale allows for month to month options!
  12. What utilities are included in my lease?
    Villa Regale pays the trash. All other utilities are separate.
  13. How long is the term of the lease?
    We offer 6 month, 9 month and 12 month leases.
  14. Do you accept leases for short terms?
    We offer short term leases on our furnished units. We offer short term leases on our unfurnished units at a higher rental rate. Three month minimum lease contract is required.
  15. Am I required to have renter’s insurance?
    Yes, renter's insurance is required.
  16. Do you offer furnished apartments?
    Yes
  17. Do you offer corporate apartments?
    Yes
  18. If something needs to be repaired in my apartment, how do I report it?
    All maintenance requests must be submitted in writing through the renter's portal.
  19. When is my rent payment due?
    On the 1st of each month.
  20. What day of the month am I liable for a late charge?
    On the 4th of each month.
  21. Will you accept electronic payments from my bank?
    Rent may be paid via e-check through our portal.
  22. Is there a place where I can pay my rent after office hours?
    No. A money order/cashier’s check can be mailed to the PO Box or it can be paid online.
  23. There is a person who might be staying with me for a while, is that permitted by the lease?
    Guests are permitted to stay for 5 days. Anyone staying longer must be approved by management.
  24. Do you have reserved parking?
    Yes. Reserved parking spots are available for a monthly fee.
  25. I have a motorcycle, where can I park it?
    Motorcycles can park in unassigned parking spots.
  26. My children live with me in the summer; do I need to notify your office when they arrive?
    Yes
  27. Can I install my satellite dish at my apartment?
    No. There is one satellite that services all apartments.
  28. Do you have cable services?
    Yes
  29. Does the property have a fitness center?
    Yes! It's open 24/7!
  30. Does the property have a swimming pool?
    Yes! Villa Regale has a resort style pool for its residents to enjoy!
  31. Does the property offer on-site recycling?
    No, but the McAllen Recycling Center is just few miles away!
  32. Are gas grills permitted at your property?
    No personal grills are permitted. We have two gas grills in our BBQ area available to be used by residents!
  33. Is there any additional storage space available at your property?
    No
  34. Are residents permitted to paint their apartment?
    No
  35. Will you accept my delivery packages for me?
    No. Delivery drives will deliver straight to your door or mailbox!
  36. Do you have a list of Preferred Employers?
    First responders, students, teachers, medical professionals, law enforcement, military . Proof of employment required.
